Area Practice Manager, Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics
Ryan Russell is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and a Native
to Southern California. He has 14 years of experience in the
Prosthetic field after getting his start in the United States
Air Force. He was introduced to Orthotics while in the military
and with that on the job training it sparked his inspiration
and decided to continue on to get a degree in Prosthetics
from California State University Dominguez Hills. He has worked
for Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics since 2006 and is now
the Area Practice Manager for Northern Los Angeles County.
His work as a Prosthetist has been featured on Fox LA, the
History Channel’s ‘Modern Marvels’, ‘The Doctors’ and ABC’s
Good Morning America.

Katy Sullivan is a bilateral above knee amputee who is an
actress and athlete that lives in Los Angeles. She grew up
on the stage and received a BFA in acting from Webster University’s
Conservatory. She worked in many theatres in Chicago, and
most recently appeared in THE LONG RED ROAD at the Goodman
Theatre directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, before making
the journey west to try her luck at TV and film. She has appeared
in numerous television shows and independent films including
a documentary that chronicles her quest to make the US Paralympic
Track team. She is probably best known for her character on
NBC’s MY NAME IS EARL. She became a member of the US Paralympic
Track team in 2007 and continues to compete in track. She
just returned from New Zealand where she placed 5th in the
World in the 100m.
