SESSION HANDOUTS

How to search for session handouts:
Thank you for attending the California Science Education
Conference in San Jose. Several presenters have uploaded
handouts to the CSTA website. To locate those handouts,
please use the following simple instructions:

Visit: http://conference.cascience.org/conf/presenterssearch.asp

From this page you may search by presenter last
name. If you do not have the presenter's last name,
use the links above the search box to search by
session type (workshop, Short Course, etc.)

Once your search results are displayed, click on
the title of the session.

The following screen will display the details of
the session, the session presenter information,
and finally, any handouts that have been uploaded
by the presenter. If there are no handouts displayed,
then the presenter did not upload any handouts.

Visit: http://members.cascience.org/members/

This will open a new window.

Enter your first and last name in the fields provided
and click continue.

A listing of possible matches will appear.

Select the appropriate name by clicking on it.
(Note: your name is on this list if you typed your
name correctly – you should not have to enter your
contact information all over again – this will create
a duplicate record for you in our system and it
will not allow you to upload your handout)

The next screen will ask for your zip code. Please
enter the zip code for the address you have on record
with CSTA.

This will take you to your member home page.

The fourth tan bar on the page is labeled “Presenter
Information”.

Click the “Click here” link in this section to
add your handouts. You can also add your photo and
biography if you wish.

The next screen will offer you the opportunity
to upload your photo, post your bio, and the third
option is “Manage Your Event Handouts”

Click on the title of your workshop to get to the
handout upload page.

Click “Chose File” to browse for the document you
wish to upload. It will accept the following files:
Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, Text, and
probably graphic files.

Once you have found the document you want to upload
assign it a name in the “Handout Description” Field,
example: Student Worksheets or PowerPoint Slides.

Then click “Continue”.
That’s it. If you are done click the logout button
on the left, if you have more than one handout to upload,
repeat the process of choosing the file and assigning
it a name.
