Pests Without Pesticides Posters -- California
Safe Schools Coalition has partnered with internationally
celebrated artist Michael Bruza to launch an innovative children's
safety poster campaign, aimed at reducing pests without the
use of pesticides. California Safe Schools is a parent driven
nonprofit environmental Coalition of over forty organizations
located in Southern California committed to the health and
safety of children, teachers, staff, and community members
who reside near school sites. California Safe Schools is nationally
recognized for creating the most stringent pesticide policy

KidMAX offers schools and other non-profit organizations FREE and/or bargain-priced materials and free advertisement (for wanted or available materials) through the California Materials Exchange Program (CalMAX). CalMAX is an online and printed listing service designed to find markets for materials previously discarded and to assist in the re-utilization of industry by-products, salvaged materials and other resources. Listings in CalMAX of interest to schools are highlighted with a "KidMAX" icon. CalMAX online services include an electronic database and interactive website, located at www.ciwmb.ca.gov/calmax/. Listings can be placed online and are posted to the website within 24 hours. CalMAX publishes a quarterly catalog with classified listings, feature articles, special pull-out inserts, a directory of reuse organizations and other useful "reuse specific" information. Resource Area for Teachers (RAFT) provides thousands of Bay Area teachers and community groups with a wide range of interactive learning materials, enhancing math, science, technology and art programs.
