California Next Generation Science Standards Communication Tools

The CA4NGSS Communications Toolkits provide education stakeholders in California with ready-to-use and source materials to introduce and communicate the value and intention of the California Next Generation Science Standards (CA NGSS) and guide supporters in promoting the implementation of the CA NGSS. An introductory webinar on the materials and their practical applications is available.

Several toolkits are available to support communications with teachers and principals, parents, and district leaders. The full suite of communications tools are available from the CA4NGSS website. Prepared for CA4NGSS by the CDE Foundation, the California Association of Science Educators (CASE), and Children Now, with support from member organizations, the content of these materials represents Alliance member input but does not reflect each member organization’s formal endorsement. When using these materials, you are welcome to tailor them to best communicate with your target audience(s).

We welcome feedback and requests for other resources that will support your efforts to raise awareness about the CA NGSS and to make science and engineering education a top priority in all K-12 public schools and districts in California. For questions or comments, please contact Jessica Howard.

Many thanks to the scores of CA4NGSS partners who continue to share their expertise in service of improved science education for all of California’s K-12 public school students!
